June Mosher was born May 25, 1923 at the Ogaard Farm in Russia townhip. She is the daughter of Alma and Adolph Ogaard. She has nine siblings: Arland (deceased), Curtis (deceased), Duane (Crookston), Alice Delisle (East Grand Forks), Shirley (deceased), Barbara Parson (Newark, CA), Carol (deceased), and Sheldon (deceased).
June married Earl Mosher October 6, 1941 in Dakota City, Nebraska. They made their home in Beltrami and bought their farm from the Earls brother Doc in 1947. In 1963, they moved to Crookston when Earl became Deputy Sheriff. June worked as a cook at the jail. She also worked at J.C. Penny's and T.B. Health Center. She also sold woman life insurance for many years.
She belonged to the American Legion and Eagles Auxiliary as President. She enjoyed going to meetings, calling people for serving, and making bars and etc. for funerals. Enjoyed having pizza parties for her women's life insurance meetings. She served Meals on Wheels with her brother Duane. Being with her family was the most important thing to her.
June and Earl had three sons: Harlan-wife Jan, Connie (deceased)-husband Jerome Larson, and Gary- wife Donna. June has 9 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren. June moved to Fair Meadow Nursing Home on December 30, 2015.
